Michele Nayman’s books include Jetlag, Somewhere Else, Faces You Can’t Find Again, and What You Love You Are. Born in London but raised in Johannesburg and Melbourne, she graduated from the University of Melbourne with a degree in Town and Regional Planning, and from the Graduate School of Journalism, Columbia University, New York, with a Master of Science (Journalism).

She has worked as a journalist on newspapers in Australia (including “The Age” in Melbourne and “The National Times” in Sydney), the United Kingdom (including “The Guardian” and “The Sunday Correspondent”), Hong Kong, and Singapore. She also worked as a marketing executive for two project management companies, with stints in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Scandinavia, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand.

She now lives in Buckinghamshire, near London, with her teenage son.  She works as a freelance writer, ghostwriter, editor, and trainer/mentor.
